Research Process

Even though I've had philosophy classes on ethics that discussed capital punishment, there's always new material to discover. I have sources from philosophers, professors, and even students who work together to provide a lot of information; and that helps me have a nice range of information. Which helps me be more certain on my own views of capital punishment. A lot of things are accounted for when it comes to the death penalty, such as; the ethics of capital punishment, the cost to house a prisoner if they don't penalize him, should it stay, should it go, is it effective in lowering crime rates, and does it serve any purpose when it comes to criminal justice. A lot of questions have to be asked also, does "eye for an eye" have any pull when it comes to the death penalty? Is it wrong, no matter what the circumstances are, to take a person's life? These are few of the many questions that need to be answered in regards to capital punishment.
